01402540 MILLSTONE RIVER AT WESTON, NJ
LOCATION - Lat 40°31'47", long 74°35'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Manville Borough, Somerset County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on left bank of main channel at downstream side of bridge on Wilhouski Street (Manville Causeway), in Weston, 0.8 mi south of Alma White College, 1.5 mi upstream of confluence with Raritan River, and 1.9 mi north of Millstone. Station is approximately 1.5 mi upstream of confluence with Raritan 
DRAINAGE AREA - 271 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Annual maximum gage, water years, 1997, 1999 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 21.9 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Oct 17, 2017 water-stage recorder was located at downstream center pier on bridge on Wilhouski Street (Manville Causeway) over bypass channel at same datum.
REMARKS - Under some flow conditions, gage is affected by backwater from Raritan River. Diurnal fluctuations in gage height possibly due to flow pattern in sewage effluent that enter the river upstream of gage.
