PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2011 to September 2014.
GAGE - Acoustic Doppler velocity meter, acoustic stage sensor and temperature sensor with telemetry. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft at NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Records fair, except for estimated values, which are poor. Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Daily mean discharges were computed from filtered unit value discharge data. The Godin low-pass filter is used to remove principal tidal frequencies from unit values. Positive discharge (ebb tide) is generally to the north direction, and negative discharge (flood tide) is generally to the south. Extremes were computed from unfiltered unit value discharges.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: Maximum positive discharge (unfiltered), 21,000 ft³/s, Oct 30, 2012; maximum negative discharge (unfiltered), -33,000 ft³/s, Oct 29, 2012. GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum gage height, 5.61 ft, Oct 29, 2012; minimum gage height, -2.58 ft, Feb 18, 2013.
