LOCATION - Lat 41°33'50", long 75°00'52" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sullivan County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040101, on left bank 0.5 mi downstream of East Branch Tenmile River, 0.6 mi northeast of Tusten, and 0.8 mi upstream of mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 45.6 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Miscellaneous measurements--1978-2011, 2013-15, 2017. May 1946 to September 1973, August 2018 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 711.28 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to August 2018, at present site at datum 2.00 ft higher.
REMARKS - Occasional regulation by Luxton Lake.
Water Years 2018-23: Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 6,850 ft³/s, Aug. 19, 1955, gage height, 9.08 ft, from rating curve extended above 1,800 ft³/s; minimum daily, 1.1 ft³/s, Sept. 24, 1962, Sept. 25, Oct. 29, Nov. 8-16, 1964.
