REMARKS - Station is an NGWOS (Next Generation Water Observing System) gage. In 1968 the Pennsylvania Game Commission completed a waterfowl habitat project that includes a 16-foot high monolithic type dam and a shallow lake of about 1,135 surface acres located about 7 miles upstream from gage. Flow is regulated to a very limited extent by the use of flash boards. The release valves were probably closed after the completion of the project and have remained closed since. There are no known diversions. Records are good except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.
