01436655 SHELDRAKE STREAM AT THOMPSONVILLE, NY
LOCATION - Lat 41°40'04.1", long 74°37'22.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sullivan County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, on left bank on downstream side of bridge on River Road, 1.5 mi downstream from Pleasure Lake dam, 0.3 mi downstream from Kiamesha Creek, and 3.2 mi northeast of Monticello.
DRAINAGE AREA - 28.4 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2019 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,114.51 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Flow slightly regulated by Pleasure Lake reservoir 1.5 mi upstream and by several small upstream lakes. Water Years 2020-22: Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 2,150 ft³/s, Sept. 2, 2021, gage height, 6.72 ft; minimum discharge, 2.56 ft³/s, Aug. 17, 2022, gage height, 1.77 ft.
