- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 41°12'25", long 74°48'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sandyston Township, Sussex County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, on downstream left wingwall of bridge on US Route 206, 1.4 mi downstream of Stony Brook, 2.5 mi south of Hainesville, 2.9 mi north of Culvers Lake, and 6.9 mi south of Montague.
DRAINAGE AREA - 22.8 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1959-64, 1966, 2002. Continuous-record gaging station, May 2008 to March, 2014.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 532.19 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Records fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - The flood of Aug 19, 1955 had a peak discharge of 4,490 ft³/s based on contracted-opening and road overflow computation at bridge on Kittle Road (01439790), 1.3 mi upstream, adjusted for difference in drainage area.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 3,840 ft³/s, Aug 28, 2011, gage height, 9.53 ft; minimum discharge, 1.5 ft³/s, Aug 21, 2010.
