LOCATION - Lat 40°14'26", long 75°03'15" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Bucks County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040201,

0.4 miles northeast of Almshouse Road, 2.0 miles upstream from mouth, at end of Walton Road at abandoned bridge site (bridge removed spring of 1987).

New gage house location (2020) Lat 40°14'25.4", long 75°03'12.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983.

DRAINAGE AREA - 40.06 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1985 - September 1992, continuous record. July 2016 - November 2017, miscellaneous measurements. Site was re-established on November 16-17, 2020 by D.R. Galeone, K.T. Reinhardt, P.K. Anzman, and P.N. Kester. New site is approximately 150 ft upstream and at a datum 4.2 ft higher than the previous gage location.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 146 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the U.S. Navy.
REMARKS - Record for water year 2021 is fair except for period Dec 1 - Jan 2 and estimated discharge, which is poor. Record for water year 2022 is fair except for estimated discharge, which is poor. Record for water year 2023 is good except for Oct 1 through June 13, which is fair and for estimated discharge, which is poor.
