01471875 MANATAWNY CREEK NEAR SPANGSVILLE, PA
LOCATION - Lat 40°20'22", long 75°44'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Berks County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, on left bank 200 ft north of powerline across stream, 1.2 mi south of Spangsville, and 1.3 mi north of SR 562 and Earlville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 56.9 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous record, October 1993 to October 2017; Miscellaneous site ( measurements only) October 2017 to September 2018. Continuous record, October 2018 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 265 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority.
REMARKS - Records for water years 2014-16 are fair except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water years 2017-2023 are fair except for estimated discharge, which is poor.
