LOCATION - Lat 40°05'52", long 75°44'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Chester County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040205, on left bank 200 ft north of Pennsylvania Turnpike, 1.2 mi downstream from Lyons Run, 1.8 mi upstream from Black Horse Creek, and 3.0 mi northeast of Glenmoore.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.57 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR PA-74-1: 1967(M), 1971-72(P) WDR PA-93-1: 1992.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1966 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Elevation of gage is 450 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2014 are good except those less than 2 ft³/s, which are fair, and those from Sept 6 to Sept 30 and for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2015 are good except those less than 2 ft³/s, which are fair, and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2016 are good except those for estimated discharge, which is poor. 
Records for water years 2017-2018 are fair. Records for water years 2019-2020 are fair except those greater than 250 cfs and those for estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water year 2021 are fair except those greater than 640 cfs and those for estimated discharge, which is poor.
