LOCATION - Lat 38°19'06.5", long 76°05'18.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Dorchester County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02080110, on right bank at upstream side of highway bridge on Wesley Church Road, 1.6 mi northwest of Toddville, and 4.25 mi upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.

REMARKS -

Water Year 2016: Records good.

Water Year 2015: Records good, missing record due to equipment malfunction.

This is a tidal station. Discharges are not determined at this location. U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum elevation, 1.86 ft. October 5, 2015; minimum elevation, -3.21 ft. January 20, 2016.

CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS

INSTRUMENTATION - Unshielded, standard 8-in. diameter, tipping bucket precipitation gage with 0.01 in. tip increment.

REMARKS - Gaps in record indicate missing or erroneous data. Records estimated as zero are based on confirmation with nearby U.S. Geological Survey and National Weather Service sites that zero precipitation occurred on those days. Records for February 15-16, 2016 are estimated based on gage totals which were biased due to delayed snow melt. U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
