LOCATION - Lat 41°59'15", long 77°18'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tioga County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050104, at single-span steel-truss bridge on State Highway 49 at Elkland.
DRAINAGE AREA - 235 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1980 to Sep 2018 operated as a Continuous Record, Annual Peak site (Annual maximum only). Oct 2018 to present, continuous discharge site.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and weighing bucket precipitation gage. Datum of gage is 1100.00 ft above NGVD 1929. Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District.
REMARKS - Daily discharge not available prior to Oct 2018.  Records are good except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.
