  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

This station managed by the PAWSC New Cumberland Office.
REMARKS - Records for water years 2014-2016 are fair except for flows greater than 370 cfs and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2017 are fair except for flows greater than 370 cfs and estimated discharges, which are poor. Records for water years 2018-2019 are fair except estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water years 2020-2021 are good except estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water year 2022 are fair except estimated discharge, which is poor.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - Water Temperature and Specific Conductance, January 2012 to current year. Turbidity, April 2016 to current year.
COOPERATION - Funding is provided by PA Department of Environmental Protection as part of a water- quality assessment of the Conewago Creek Watershed.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality probe monitoring water temperature, specific conductance, and turbidity on the 15-minute interval. Satellite telemetry at site.
REMARKS - 2011 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated poor, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication. 2012 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated poor, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication. 2013 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated poor, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication. 2014 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated fair, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication. 2015 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated fair, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication. 2016 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated fair, and turbidity record is not suitable for publication through April 15, rated poor thereafter. 2017 water year water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated fair, and turbidity record is rated fair except those values greater than 1000 and less than 10, which are rated poor. Water year 2018 water temperature record is rated good, specific conductance record is rated fair, and turbidity record is rated fair except those values greater than 1000 and less than 10, which are rated poor. Beginning in water year 2019, water quality records are not rated as "excellent", "good", "fair", or "poor". The reporting precision of the turbidity probe in low turbidity water is +/-0.3 FNU. The lowest reportable value, 0 FNU, is subject to this error and does not necessarily indicate a condition of zero turbidity. Turbidity values greater than 1000 FNU are beyond the specification of the sensor and are considered unreliable.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: maximum, 30.9 oC on Jul 19, 2013; minimum, -0.1 oC on many days. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: maximum, 855 uS/cm on Mar 19, 2020; minimum, 86 uS/cm on Sept 1, 2021. TURBIDITY: maximum, 1300 NTU on Feb 25, 2017, but may have been higher; minimum, -0.3 on many days.
