  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1928 to September 1939 and April 1968 to September 1971. January 1989 to September 1995 and October 2010 to March 2014 (discharge measurements). April 2014 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 175.42 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
REMARKS - Records for water year 2014 are fair. Records for water years 2015-2016 are good except those estimated days, which are poor. Records for water year 2017 are good except estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water year 2018 are fair except estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water years 2019-2023 are fair except those discharges greater than 3,000 cfs and estimated discharge, which are poor.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2010 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: December 2019 to current year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: December 2019 to current year. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: December 2019 to current year. PH: December 2019 to current year. TURBIDITY: December 2019 to current year. NITRATE: August 2020 to current year.
COOPERATION - Water-quality samples were collected as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Water-Quality Network (WQN) with cooperation from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor collecting data at 15-minute interval. The water quality Sonde is located directly streamward of the gaging station. Satellite telemetry at the station.
REMARKS -

As of October 2013, results from discrete water quality samples collected at this site are available through the U.S. Geological Survey National Water Information System web interface on the "Water Quality for the Nation" webpage. Analyses for pH, water temperature, specific conductance, and dissolved oxygen were performed on site. All other sample analyses were performed at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection laboratory in Harrisburg, PA. Occasionally, values for filtered parameters may exceed values for the corresponding unfiltered parameter. These results are within the limits of analytical precision and methods.

Cross-sectional water quality data is available upon request. Water temperature, specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and nitrate data are collected year round.
