LOCATION - Lat 39°39'28.4", long 76°10'28.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Harford County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02050306, 1.0 mi southwest of Conowingo, and 9.9 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 27,100 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 4.16 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS -
  • Water Years 2019-2021: Records fair, except those for estimated discharges, which are poor. Maximum discharge, 326,000 ft³ /s, Sept. 2, gage height, 24.29 ft, was independent of the same peak discharge that occurred Dec. 26, at the same gage height.
  • Water Year 2018: Records fair, except those for estimated discharges, which are poor.
