LOCATION - Lat 39°06'14.1", long 78°57'33.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hardy County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 02070001, gage is located on the upstream side of the US-220 bridge, downstream 2.8 miles from the confluence of South Fork South Branch Potomac River and South Branch Potomac River. 
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,216 mi².
