LOCATION - Lat 38°38'13", long 78°51'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Rockingham County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02070006, on right bank at Cootes Store, 300 ft upstream from bridge on State Highway 259, and 3.7 mi upstream from Linville Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 210 mi².
