LOCATION - Lat 38°56'03.0", long 76°56'21.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Prince George's County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070010, located on the left bank, 500 ft upstream from Quincy Run, and 0.5 miles SW of Bladensburg.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

Stage: August 4, 2021 to December 7, 2022. 

Discharge: August 9, 2021 to November 9, 2022. 

 

GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and velocity meter. Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS - Records poor, including estimated discharges. This is a tidal discharge station. Discharge is computed from relations between stage vs. area and index velocity vs. mean channel velocity. Daily mean discharges were computed using the Godin low-pass filter to remove tidal effects from unit values. U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.

pH: Maximum, 9.4 standard units, August 31, 2021; Minimum, 6.5 standard units July 3, 2022*.
DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 16.2 milligrams per liter, August 31, 2021; Minimum, 0.5 milligrams per liter, August 01, 2021.
