LOCATION - Lat 37°15'59", long 79°35'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bedford County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 03010101, on left bank, on upstream side of bridge on State Route 747 (Joppa Mill Road), about 4 mi south of Bedford at Joppa Mill.
DRAINAGE AREA - 125 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2006 to June 2014 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 704.13 ft NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - For water year 2013: Records good except those for estimated daily discharges Nov. 22-29 and Jan. 25, which are fair; estimated daily discharges May 8 to July 16 and period July 17 to Aug. 5, which are poor.
