0208726005 CRABTREE CREEK AT EBENEZER CHURCH ROAD NEAR RALEIGH, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°50'43", long 78°43'28" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Wake County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03020201, on upstream side of bridge at Ebenezer Church Road (Secondary Road 1649), 0.1 mi downstream from Sycamore Creek, and 6.6 mi northwest of Raleigh.
DRAINAGE AREA - 76 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1987 to September 1992, May 1997 to current year. December 1987 to September 1992, published as "Crabtree Creek at Secondary Road 1649 near Raleigh, NC".
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 223.9 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAD83, Geoid 12A).
REMARKS - Flow regulated by flood-control dam upstream of gage. Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Maximum discharge 8120 ft³/s, June 14, 2006; Maximum gage height 22.30 ft, June 14, 2006. Minimum daily mean discharge, 2.1 cfs, December 18, 1990.

The period of record for the site has large data gaps and the maximum gage height and discharge for the period of record were determined by looking at the peak GH value and calculating out the corresponding discharge. This was done due to the GH values being deleted from the record and the corresponding discharge not being computed in Aquarius.
