02094770 SOUTH BUFFALO CREEK AT U.S. HIGHWAY 220 AT GREENSBORO, NC
LOCATION - Lat 36°02'17", long 79°47'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Guilford County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03030002, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 220, and 0.8 mi upstream from Ryan Creek in Greensboro, NC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 15.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-NC-04-1: 2003 (annual maximum discharge). WDR-US-2012: 1999 (annual maximum discharge). Discharge data for January 13, 2020 was revised due to deletion of erroneous gauge height data.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 727.27 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharge, which is poor. Gage-height records are generally good.
