LOCATION - Lat 35°57'04.25", long 78°55'36.99" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Durham County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03030002, located on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway at the northwest corner of bridge over Third Fork Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.43 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of Gage is 267.6 ft above NAVD88 NAD83(2011). Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
COOPERATION - Gage is operated in cooperation with Stormwater Services Division, City of Durham.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally poor due to constantly changing sand channel.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
