LOCATION - Lat 35°55'20.3", long 79°03'57.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Orange County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03030002, on right bank 200 ft from Umstead Drive in Chapel Hill, NC.
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.90 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge for the period Sept. 17, 2018, to Mar. 2, 2020, was revised on Apr. 29, 2020, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2012 to current water year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 333.9 ft above NAVD88 NAD83(2011) Geoid 09. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
COOPERATION - Gage established in cooperation with the Chapel Hill Stormwater Management Program and the Town of Carrboro.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
