LOCATION - Lat 33°38'56", long 79°05'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Horry County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03040206, on right bank across on railing of Bucksport Plantation Marina, 1.0 miles southwest of Bucksport, 3.9 mi. upstream from Bull Creek at mile 25.2 on AIW near Bucksport SC.

Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 15.63 ft below NAVD of 1988 found by Level II GNSS survey on Dec 12, 2022 using RM1. Datum previously reported at 14.36 ft below NGVD29. 

Datum of gage was reported erroneously at 14.43 below NAVD 88 from 2020-2022.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 26.67 ft, Sept. 27, 2018 from HWM as a result of Hurricane Florence; minimum gage height, 12.11 ft, Aug. 27, 1998. Gage height affected by tide.
