02110815 WACCAMAW RIVER NEAR HAGLEY LANDING NEAR PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC
LOCATION - Lat 33°26'40", long 79°10'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Georgetown County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03040206, on left bank at Heritage Reserve Marina 0.9 mi upstream of Hagley Landing. Gage is located at end of dock walkway directly in front of Dockmaster's office.
DRAINAGE AREA -  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1989 to current year. Prior to October 2007, published as Waccamaw River at Hagley Landing near Pawleys Island.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 14.14 ft below NGVD of 1929. Prior to January 13, 2004 at site 0.7 mi upstream and at same datum.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 20.93 ft, Oct. 8, 2016 from CSG reading; minimum gage height, 11.26 ft, July 11, 2002.

REMARKS -

For water year 2014: Specific Conductance records excellent except for July 31 to Sep. 12, which are good; Temperature records excellent; Dissolved Oxygen records excellent except for Oct. 1 to Nov. 8, which are good.

For water year 2015: Specific Conductance records fair except for Jun. 30 to Jul. 16 and Sept. 3 to Sept. 30, which are poor; Temperature records excellent; Dissolved Oxygen records excellent except for Jan. 7 to Mar. 4, which are good.

For water year 2016: Specific Conductance records good except for Oct. 19 - Jan. 28, which are rated fair, and Oct. 1-18, Jan. 29 - Mar. 22, and Sept 8-15, which are poor; Temperature records excellent; Dissolved Oxygen records excellent except for Jul. 14 - Sept. 7, which are good and Sept. 8-15, which are rated poor.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 29,900 microsiemens/cm, Sep. 22, 1989; minimum, 40 microsiemens/cm, Aug. 30, 1992, Jan. 23, 1993, Feb. 2, 3, 1993. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 33.5°C, Aug. 1, 1999; minimum, 1.0°C, Dec. 25, 26, 1989. DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 12.8 mg/L, first occurrence on Jan. 08, 2018; minimum, 0.2 mg/L, Sep. 14, 1996. Prior to Oct. 1, 1991, specific conductance values less than 100 microsiemens/cm were not recordable. Prior to October 1, 2003 dissolved oxygen concentrations are not corrected for salinity.
