LOCATION - Lat 35°25'53.32", long 80°00'59.90" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Montgomery County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03040103, at North Carolina Highway 109, 1 mi upstream from McLeans Creek and 3 mi south of Eldorado.
DRAINAGE AREA - 342 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -

March 27, 2019 to current year.

Water years 1981-2008, periodic discharge measurements. October 1938 to September 1971, daily discharges. 

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 302.76 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to 2019 the gage was located 850 ft downstream at the same datum. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
