LOCATION - Lat 35°18'33", long 80°40'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cabarrus County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03040105, on left bank downstream of culvert on Secondary Road 1173 (Caldwell Road), approximately 2 mi southeast of Harrisburg.
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.45 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 591.13 ft North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height 11.77 ft, discharge 1,620 cfs January 25, 2010. No flow occurred July 29, 30, 31, August 3, 4, 5, 2011, June 29, and July 03, 2022.
