LOCATION - Lat 35°15'14", long 80°38'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mecklenburg County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03040105, on right bank at Secondary Road 2804, 3.3 mi northeast of Wilgrove.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.76 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NC-10-1: 2008 (annual maximum discharge), 2009 (annual maximum discharge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 597.09 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from levels. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge for period of record, 1,510 ft³/s, August 27,2008, from rating curve extended above 1,000 ft³/s, based on contracted opening measurement of peak flow. No flow occurred September 7 to October 19, 2007.
