LOCATION - Lat 35°19'18", long 80°32'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cabarrus County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03040105, On left bank at end of maintenance road located within Rocky River Waste Water Treatment Facility, 0.40 miles above confluence with Irish Buffalo Creek and Cold Water Creek, 2.1 miles northeast of Flowes Store, NC. Concord SE, NC quadrangle.
DRAINAGE AREA - 278 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 494.26 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS -

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Site is affected by variable backwater conditions at high flow; therefore, a peak flow was not determined for current water year and period of record. Missing discharge values on the daily values table are days when the flow exceeded the rating. Minimum discharge for all years affected by regulation.
