LOCATION - Lat 33°39'44.1", long 79°50'10.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Williamsburg County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03040205, at downstreamstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 52 at Kingstree, 1.0 mi downstream from Kingstree Swamp Canal, and at mile 86.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,252 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1032: 1928(m), drainage area WSP 1333: 1930(m), 1931, 1936.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1929 to current year. Gage-height records collected at same site since 1894 are contained in reports of National Weather Service.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 24.48 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Nov. 7, 1934, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good to fair. Discharge records are generally good to fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
