0214192500 MIDDLE LITTLE RIVER AT MORETZ DAM NEAR BETHLEHEM, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°50'41.05", long 81°16'46.19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Alexander County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050101, on the left bank, on the upstream end of the bridge abutment at Teague Town Rd, approximately 500 ft downstream of Moretz Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA - 46.1 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2019 to current year.

Water years 1993-1994, periodic discharge measurements. 
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and wire weight gage. Datum of gage is 946.83 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Radio telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - A maximum instantaneous discharge of 5,690 ft³/s at a gage height of 16.87 ft, November 12, 2020.
