DRAINAGE AREA - 1,860 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2015 to current year.

GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 557.94 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.

REMARKS - Considerable regulation, caused by Mountain Island Dam. Gage-height records are generally good. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
