0214297160 BEAVERDAM CREEK ABOVE WINDY GAP ROAD NEAR SHOPTON, NC
LOCATION - Lat 35°10'11", long 80°59'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mecklenburg County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050101, on right bank 200 ft above Windy Gap Road, and 1.6 mi west of North Carolina Highway 160 at Shopton.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.47 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Discharge for the period July 7th, 2023, to September 22nd, 2023, and the mean gage-height associated with discharge measurement #172 were revised on October 30th, 2023, based on changes to the shifting of the stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 567.71 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite and radio telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - Missing values on the daily values discharge table are days when flow exceeded rating.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Peak discharge for period of record and current water year not determined due to variable backwater from Lake Wylie. No flow occurs at times most years.
