  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

USGS Water-Year Summary 2025
02148315 WATEREE RIVER BELOW EASTOVER, SC
LOCATION - Lat 33°49'42", long 80°37'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Richland County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050104, on right bank, 1.3 mi upstream from Southern Railway bridge, 1.8 mi northeast of Wateree, 4.5 mi southeast of Eastover, and at mile 10.8.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5,590 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1968 to July 2014 (discontinued), discharge below 10,000 ft³/s only.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 77.43 ft above NGVD of 1929 (South Carolina Electric and Gas Company benchmark).
REMARKS - For the 2014 water year, records good.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge values represent only that portion of the flow confined to the main channel (less than approximately 10,000 ft³/s). At times of higher flow, bankfull capacity is exceeded, and flow is dispersed throughout the floodplain. Higher flows are indeterminate, therefore, daily mean discharges greater than 10,000 ft³/s are not shown.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1971 to 2014.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 1970 to July 2014 (discontinued). pH: February 1971 to July 2014 (discontinued). WATER TEMPERATURE: October 1970 to July 2014 (discontinued). DISSOLVED OXYGEN: October 1970 to July 2014 (discontinued).
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality multiprobe and data collection platform.
REMARKS - For the 2014 water year, specific conductance records rated good. For the 2014 water year, pH records rated good except for Dec. 20 to July 15, which are rated fair. For the 2014 water year, temperature records rated excellent except for Dec. 20 to July 15, which are rated good. For the 2014 water year, dissolved oxygen records rated excellent except for Dec. 20 to July 15, which are rated good.
