LOCATION - Lat 34°41'00", long 82°02'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Spartanburg County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050108, on downstream side of bridge on S.C. Highway 202, 0.7 mi downstream from Durbin Creek, and 4.0 mi south of Woodruff.
DRAINAGE AREA - 249 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1993 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 528.52 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 52,200 ft³/s, August 27, 1995, from rating curve extended above 5,690 cfs and on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow: maximum gage height, 29.90 ft., August 27, 1995, from floodmarks. Minimum daily mean discharge, 33.7 cfs, Aug. 13, 2002.
