SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: May 2007 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: May 2007 to current year.
WATER VELOCITY: May 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder and an acoustic velocity meter. Datum of gage is the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988.
COOPERATION - Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division.
REMARKS -
For period: 10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Discharge records poor. Gage-height records good. Water velocity records poor.
For period: 10/01/2014-09/30/2015: Discharge records poor. Gage-height records good. Water velocity records poor.
For period: 10/01/2015-09/30/2016: Discharge records poor. Gage-height records good. Water velocity records poor.
For period: 10/01/2016-10/31/2016: Discharge records poor. Gage-height records good. Water velocity records poor. Streamflow at this site is affected significantly by astronomical tides. By convention, the U.S. Geological Survey has established ebb (seaward) flows as positive flows and flood (landward) flows as negative flows. Unfiltered 15-minute stage, velocity, and discharge data are available upon request.
