LOCATION - Lat 33°58'42.8", long 83°56'21.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Gwinnett County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03070103, at bridge on US 29, 3.2 miles northeast of Lawrenceville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9.97 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: Water Years 1965 to 1974, 1995 to 2003 (annual maximum only); October 2005 to October 2015.
GAGE-HEIGHT: Water Years 1965 to 1974, 1995 to 2003 (annual maximum only); October 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 930.81 ft above NAVD 88. The NAVD 88 datum of gage was determined by two GNSS Level II, single-base static surveys of RM 8 (REF FRAME: NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000), GEOID18), that was tied to the gage datum via conventional levels completed by USGS personnel on August 30, 2021. Prior to August 31, 2021, the manuscript stated that the datum of gage was 920 ft above NGVD of 1929 as determined via topographic map by USGS. Prior to April 23, 2003, station was operated as a crest-stage partial-record station at same location and different datum.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 2,200 cfs, estimated from rating curve extended above 920 cfs based on drainage area comparison, September 21, 2009; maximum gage-height recorded, 8.29 feet, September 21, 2009; minimum daily discharge, 0.26 cfs, October 17, 2011.
