LOCATION - Lat 33°06'01.1", long 83°43'23.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Jones County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03070103, on left bank, 300 feet upstream from bridge on County Road 1432, 4.0 miles upstream from Caney Creek, and 5.1 miles east of Juliette, GA.
DRAINAGE AREA - 72.2 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: July 1964 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: July 1964 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 366.52 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929.
COOPERATION - USGS National Streamflow Information Program (NSIP).
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum instantaneous discharge, 4,940 CFS, July 6,1994. Maximum instantaneous gage height, 23.25 ft, from flood marks, July 5, 1994. Minimum daily mean discharge, zero flow on multiple days in summer and fall during water years 2002, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, and 2019.
