02215900 LITTLE OCMULGEE RIVER AT GA 149, AT SCOTLAND, GA
LOCATION - Lat 32°03'08.5", long 82°48'56.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Telfair County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03070105, at bridge on State Route 165, 1.6 miles north of Chauncy, GA.
DRAINAGE AREA - 316 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: December 1983 to July 1985 and June 1996 to July 2003 and September 2004 to October 2009 (annual maximum), November 2009 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: November 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 126.5 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good to fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 5,680 cfs, April 24, 2020; maximum gage height recorded, 14.41 feet, April 4, 2009; minimum daily discharge, 0.01 cfs, October 7-8, 2011.
