LOCATION - Lat 28°42'14", long 81°17'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 sec.38, T.20 S., R.30 E., Seminole County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080101, at center downstream side of box culverts on State Highway 434, 700 ft upstream from Seaboard Coast Line railroad bridge, 1.0 mi upstream from mouth, and 3.5 mi east of Longwood.
DRAINAGE AREA - 12.8 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1972 to September 1979, October 1980 to July 1985 (discharge measurements only), August 1985 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (levels by Seminole County Engineer) and 1.02 ft below NAVD of 1988. Apr. 11, 1978 to Sept. 30, 1979 at site 400 ft upstream at same datum, Oct. 1, 1980 to Aug.11, 1985, nonrecording gage at present site and datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
