LOCATION - Lat 28°41'13", long 81°23'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 sec.03, T.21 S., R.29 E., Seminole County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080101, on downstream side of State Highway 434 bridge, 450 ft upstream from Sanlando Springs outlet, 1.4 mi northeast of Post Office in Altamonte Springs, and 5.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 42.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR FL-03-1A: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1972 to September 1979, February 1981 to September 1982 (gage heights and discharge measurements only), October 1982 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (levels by St. Johns River Water Management District) and 1.02 ft below NAVD of 1988. From Feb. 11, 1981 to Nov. 28, 1985, at site 75 ft downstream at same datum. From Mar. 13, 2009 to Nov. 2, 2013, at site 280 ft downstream of State Highway 434 bridge at same datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Flow includes occasional pumpage from Cranes Roost basin.
