LOCATION - Lat 29°10'59", long 81°59'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.15, T.15 S., R.23 E., Marion County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080102, 200 ft downstream from County Highway 314, 2.3 mi upstream from Silver River and 6 mi east of Ocala.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,018 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1930 to July 1968; April 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NAVD of 1988 (St. John River Water Management District bench mark). Prior to July 1968 datum of gage at 36.52 ft above NGVD of 1929, supplementary adjustment of 1937 (Corps of Engineers bench mark). Prior to Mar. 2, 1932, staff gage at same site and datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Low flow regulated at Ocklawaha River Moss Bluff (02238500) 12 mi above station.
