  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

USGS Water-Year Summary 2021
LOCATION - Lat 28°44'10", long 80°45'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 sec.19, T.20 S., R.36 E., Brevard County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080202, on the right bank, under the bridge on Kennedy Parkway, 8.7 mi south of the intersection of U.S. Highway 1 and Kennedy Parkway, and 7.3 mi northeast of Mims.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1995 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform.  Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 and 1.24 ft below NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Discharge not published some days due to bad or missing gage-height or velocity data.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE (TOP): April 1998 to September 2016 (discontinued).
SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE (BOTTOM): April 1998 to September 2000 (discontinued).
WATER TEMPERATURE (TOP): April 1998 to September 2016 (discontinued).
WATER TEMPERATURE (BOTTOM): April 1998 to September 2000 (discontinued).
NITRATE: August 2014 to September 2016 (discontinued).

INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor and data-collection platform.
REMARKS - Extremes for current year and extremes for period of daily record are based on recorded values and may have been exceeded during periods of no record. April 1998 to September 2008; water temperature and specific conductance published as daily mean. October 2008 to September 2014; water temperature, specific conductance, and nitrate published as instantaneous maximum and minimum. October 2015 to September 2016; water temperature, specific conductance, and nitrate published as instantaneous maximum, instantaneous minimum and daily mean. Nitrate levels in all samples were found to be below the National Water Quality Laboratory minimum detection limit of 0.04 mg/L indicating nitrate at this location is essentially zero. Lab results did not compare well with data from the nitrate monitor. The lack of comparability is likely the result of monitor limitations and organic interference.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE (TOP): Maximum, 68,400 µS/cm @ 25 °C, May 8, 2012; minimum, 22,180 µS/cm @ 25 °C, Oct. 28, 1999; maximum daily mean, 63,500 µS/cm @ 25 °C, June 9, 2001; minimum daily mean, 27,800 µS/cm @ 25 °C, Oct. 27, 2005.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE (BOTTOM): Maximum, 62,400 µS/cm @ 25 °C, June 10, 2000; minimum, 19,000 µS/cm @ 25 °C, Sept. 19, 1998.

WATER TEMPERATURE (TOP): Maximum, 34.2 °C, Aug. 23, 2016; minimum, 3.9 °C, Jan. 11, 2010; maximum daily mean, 32.7 °C, July 22, 2016; minimum daily mean, 8.9 °C, Jan. 5, 2001.
