LOCATION - Lat 28°07'36", long 80°38'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 sec.20, T.27 S., R.37 E., Brevard County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080202, on right bank, 0.2 mi upstream of concrete spillway, 0.7 mi north of Sarno Road, 1.7 mi upstream from mouth, and 3.8 mi northwest of Melbourne.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.80 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The maximum peak discharge for the period of record is 1510 ft³/s, Aug. 2, 1995; the previously published figure was reported at 1440 ft³/s, Aug. 20, 2008.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1991 to May 2023, June 2023 to August 2023 (gage heights only), September 2023 to current year. 
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, concrete weir, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 10.00 ft below NGVD of 1929 and 11.39 ft below NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Discharge not published May 26, 2023 to September 8, 2023, due to the construction when the original weir was removed and replaced with a new concrete weir.
