LOCATION - Lat 27°45'15", long 80°25'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 sec.27, T.31 S., R.39 E., Indian River County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03080203, near the southwest end of bridge on State Highway 510, and 0.5 mi east of Wabasso.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1940 to current year (gage heights only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (Florida Department of Transportation bench mark) and 1.47 ft below NAVD of 1988. Prior to June 26, 1970, at site 0.9 mi northeast at same datum.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the St. Johns River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Stage affected by tide. The stage record published is the maximum and minimum tide event for each calendar day. Gage was removed on May 28, 2019 due to construction and re-installed on June 21, 2019.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum recorded gage height, 5.81 ft, Sept. 26, 2004; minimum, -1.36 ft, Jan. 20, 1946.
