USGS Water-Year Summary 2019
LOCATION - Lat 26°57'44", long 81°07'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 sec.28, T.40 S., R.32 E., Glades County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090201, on right bank, 50 ft upstream from bridge on State Highway 78, 0.8 mi southeast of Lakeport, and 2 mi upstream from Lake Okeechobee.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1948 to December 1950; September 1971 to July 1974 (discharge measurements only); June 1993 to February 1997 (gage heights only); May 1997 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (South Florida Water Management District bench mark). Nonrecording gage 1949-50, 1971-76 at same site.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the South Florida Water Management District.
