02261400 CAT ISLAND SWAMP AT NOVA RD NR NARCOOSSEE, FL
LOCATION - Lat 28°16'32.26", long 81°08'23.32" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.29, T.25 S., R.32 E., Osceola County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090101, near right bank at upstream side of culvert on County Road 532, 6.2 mi southeast of Narcoossee, and 8.9 mi northwest of St. Cloud. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2024 to September 2024 (gage heights only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is arbitrary and 0.37 ft above NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Positive velocity direction is defined as from south to north, from Cat Island Swamp to Lake Joel and Lake Preston. Water levels collected seasonally from June to December.
