LOCATION - Lat 28°22'16", long 81°18'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 sec.28, T.24 S., R.30 E., Orange County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090101, on left bank 450 ft downstream from Boggy Creek Swamp, 0.2 mi upstream from bridge on Central Florida Greenway, 3.5 mi upstream from mouth, and 5.5 mi southeast of Taft.
DRAINAGE AREA - 83.6 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1959 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 56.08 ft above NGVD of 1929 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers bench mark). Nonrecording gage, Feb. 18, 1991 to Jan. 22, 1993. Auxiliary water-stage recorder on the south side of East Lake Tohopekaliga since Oct.1, 1973, and prior to July 19, 1968. From July 19, 1968, to Sept. 30, 1973, auxiliary water-stage recorder at St. Cloud Canal above S-59.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Some diversion to ground water through drainage wells in lakes upstream from station.
