LOCATION - Lat 28°25'37.3", long 81°36'19.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 sec.03, T.24 S., R.27 E., Orange County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090101, on right upstream wingwall of control structure S-405A, 200 ft upstream from Lateral 407, and 6.4 mi west of Doctor Phillips.
DRAINAGE AREA - 19.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR FL-96-1A: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1969 to September 1972 (gage heights and periodic discharge measurements only), October 1986 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, gate-opening recorder, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is at NGVD of 1929 (Reedy Creek Improvement District benchmark). Auxiliary water-stage sensor at downstream side of control structure.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by operation of structure 405A. Discharge computed from relation between discharge and gate openings and does not include leakage, which is less than 5.0 ft³/s, around structure or gates.
