DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) survey levels from a benchmark provided by the South Florida Water Management District, and 1.53 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION - Miami-Dade County.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 5.28 ft Sept. 10, 2017; minimum, -0.80 ft June 2, 2022.
PERIOD OF RECORD - SALINITY: April 2009 to current year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: April 2009 to current year. WATER TEMPERATURE: April 2009 to current year.
COOPERATION - Miami-Dade County.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor.
REMARKS - Elevation of the salinity and water temperature sensor, at present, is to an arbitrary elevation 0.6 ft depth of the mean low-tide; once, an adequate period of record is collected. Salinity computed from specific conductance, corrected and computed through rating in the NWIS database.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SALINTY: Maximum recorded, 8.3 ppt Sept. 10, 2017; minimum recorded, 0.2 ppt multiple days during each water year. SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum recorded, 14,400 uS/cm @25°C Sept. 10, 2017; minimum recorded, 342 uS/cm @25°C Apr. 22, 2017. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum recorded, 32.9°C July 16, 2011; minimum recorded, 16.7°C Jan. 8, and Dec. 16, 2010.
