GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).
REMARKS - Station destroyed by Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017.  Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Daily mean discharge was computed from filtered unit values discharge data. The Godin low-pass filter to remove principal tidal frequencies from unit values. Positive discharge (ebb tide) is generally to the southwest direction, and negative discharge (flood tide) to the northeast. Discharge and gage height 15 minutes data, are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Data can also be accessed online at http://sofia.usgs.gov/. Daily values of gage height and tidally filtered discharge are available online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
